Product overview
One machine, configured around the cleaning task.
Compressed air accelerates dry ice particles through the blasting hose and nozzle toward the surface. Cleaning action combines particle impact, cooling effects and dry ice sublimation.
The dry ice changes to gas rather than remaining as blasting media. Removed oil, carbon, ink, release agent or other contamination still remains and must be collected according to the site process.
Prepare the supply
Confirm 220 V / 50 Hz electrical compatibility, dry ice pellets at or below 3 mm and an air system capable of the required pressure and flow.
Set the cleaning conditions
Choose pressure, dry ice output, nozzle and stand-off distance around the contaminant, substrate and access constraints.
Test before production use
Verify cleaning effect and surface response on a controlled sample before defining the operating procedure.
Documented applications
Four starting points from the product sheet.
Application labels indicate possible cleaning contexts, not guaranteed results. Actual fit depends on the surface, contaminant, air supply and operating controls.
Automotive maintenance
Engine and component cleaning
For carbon, oil and underbody residue after confirming access and material compatibility.
Mold industry
Mold surface cleaning
For release agents and process buildup on injection, rubber and casting tooling after sample testing.
Precision components
Controlled component cleaning
For parts where water and secondary blasting media are undesirable, subject to surface and tolerance review.
Printing
Roller and press maintenance
For ink, adhesive and paper dust on rollers, trays and accessible mechanisms.
Technical specifications
Supply conditions define usable performance.
Pressure alone is not an air-supply specification. Confirm both pressure and flow at the machine during operation.
Specification source: supplied DryIceSys product sheet. Packaging size is kept separate from the machine envelope because the document does not state external machine dimensions.

Site requirements and safety
Confirm the operating environment before ordering.
Dry ice produces carbon dioxide gas as it sublimates. The buyer remains responsible for site-specific ventilation, carbon-dioxide controls, hearing protection, PPE, isolation procedures and risk assessment.
- Verify clean, dry compressed air at 0.6-0.8 MPa and 2-4 m^3/min.
- Maintain more than 0.4 MPa at the machine during continuous operation.
- Use dry ice pellets no larger than 3 mm.
- Test delicate surfaces, coatings, seals and electrical assemblies before routine use.
- Define ventilation, hearing protection and contamination collection procedures.
Product questions
What must be confirmed before quotation?
What compressed-air supply does the machine require?
The supplied sheet states 0.6-0.8 MPa and 2-4 m^3/min. During continuous operation, pressure at the machine should remain above 0.4 MPa.
What dry ice size can pass through the system?
The stated maximum pellet diameter is 3 mm.
Does the packaging size equal the machine size?
No. The document states a packaging size of 700 x 740 x 1000 mm and does not provide a separate machine envelope.
What information should an enquiry include?
Provide the contaminant, substrate, cleaning area, frequency, available air pressure and flow, electrical supply, site restrictions and required quantity.
Review the machine against your actual air supply.
Share the cleaning target and operating conditions. The project team can confirm configuration, accessories and OEM requirements.
